ALEXANDRIA, VA-Thanks to the support of the Alexandria community, the Animal Wlfare League of Alexandria (AWLA) is often able to help thheir rural shelter and rescue partners by taking in some of the animals when they’re overcrowded. Recently, AWLA brought in 12 adorable pups! Despite a rough start to life, this bunch is full of love, energy, and playfulness. All of the puppies are four months old, spayed and neutered, and ready to find a home for the holidays!

Pictured are Maddy, Mei Xiang and Xiao Qi Ji. While Maddy and Mei Xiang are a little shy and timid at first, both girls warm up quickly. You’ll find them both snuggling in your lap the first chance they get. Xiao Qi Ji is a bundle of energy and ready to play with toys straight out the gate. AWLA currently has seven pups still waiting for homes. Come visit them soon.
