During Alexandria Library’s recent Needs Assessment, the community made the Library aware that it lacked brand recognition. In particular, community members felt uninformed about Library events and services. In response, the Library began to revitalize its marketing and branding efforts. One of the goals in the Library’s Five Year Plan is to develop a consistent brand with complementary marketing materials. The first step comes with a logo that represents all that we do.
The Library’s new logo is contemporary, colorful and representative of the diverse community as well as the variety of programs and services offered. As part of the Marketing and Branding initiative, Alexandria Library is investigating new ways of informing the community about its events and services. The Library invites the community to take a brief survey and let us know what you think. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will be used as we develop new marketing strategies.
