It’s crab season and there are three places close by where you can get crabs by the dozen, all-you-can-eat options, or crabs by the bushel. Ernie’s Crabhouse, 1743 King St., started out across the street from Lindsey Cadillac. They are still providing delicious crabs by the dozen or all-you-can-eat crab feasts. The Quarterdeck, 1200 Fort Myer Dr., also offer crabs by the dozen or all-you-can-eat crab option on Quarterdeck’s outdoor patio. Just over the 14th Street Bridge is the Maine Avenue Fish Market, 1100 Maine Ave. SW. This is a low frills option offering several vendors on floating barges in an open air seafood market. You can by cooked or raw crabs by the dozen or bushel.
