City of Alexandria to Hold Legal Services Community Outreach Event

The City of Alexandria will hold a legal services community outreach event on Tuesday, May 15, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Charles Houston Recreation Center (901 Wythe St.). This event, to be hosted in collaboration with the Alexandria Office of Human Rights, Legal Services of Northern Virginia and the Alexandria Human Rights Commission, is intended to increase public awareness of the legal services available to Alexandria residents.

The event will feature a panel of representatives from various law-related agencies. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact directly with panel members and are invited to ask questions and share their ideas. In addition to the host organizations, agencies in attendance will include the Alexandria Police Department, Sheriff’s Office, Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, Court Service Unit, and Office of the Public Defender; the Alexandria Bar Association; and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
