‘Presidential’ Land-based Clean-up at Four Mile Run
George Washington used to mill his wheat along Four Mile Run in one of the many grain mills that were built over the run.
Plan on 90 minutes of effort focused on litter along the Four Mile Run between the end of Commonwealth Avenue and Route 1. Sturdy shoes with good traction are recommended to able to access the stream bank at low tide.
