Alexandria’s Child & Family Network Centers Named ‘One of the Best’ Nonprofits by the Catalogue for Philanthropy
ALEXANDRIA, VA—The Child & Family Network Centers (CFNC) was selected by the Catalogue for Philanthropy to be part of its Class of 2018-19. CFNC has undergone a rigorous review process conducted by a team of more than120 experts in the local philanthropic field, and has met the Catalogue’s high standards. Potential donors can be confident that the nonprofits in the Catalogue are worthy of their support.

Being honored by the Catalogue for Philanthropy is instrumental in widening our audience and community.”
CFNC, a nonprofit based in Alexandria, Virginia, provides free early education and wrap around family and health services to low income families in the city. This is the second time that CFNC has been featured in the Catalogue. The organization was previously selected as ‘One of the Best’ Nonprofits in 2014-15. CFNC’s dedication to serving at-risk families in Alexandria is reflected through consistent honors by the Catalogue for Philanthropy.
This year, reviewers helped select 77 charities to feature in the print edition, 38 of which are new to the Catalogue this year. It also selected an additional 49 nonprofits to be re-featured on its website. The network now includes more than 400 vetted nonprofits working in the arts, education, environment, and human services sectors throughout Greater Washington. CFNC is proud to be part of this network.
