NORA PARTLOW NOMINATED FOR HERO AWARD

NORA PARTLOW RECEIVES NOMINATION FOR THE 2018 NORTHERN VIRGINIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® HERO AWARD

ALEXANDRIA, VA (September 11, 2018) – Nora Partlow, an affiliated sales associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Alexandria office, has been nominated for the 2018 Northern Virginia Association of Realtors®(NVAR) Hero Award. The 2018 NVAR Hero Award is presented each year to a Realtor® who has provided essential support for a nonprofit organization in the community.

Partlow was nominated by Neighborhood Health of Virginia for contributing over 20 years of support, volunteer time and donations to the nonprofit organization. According to Neighborhood Health of Virginia, Partlow has influenced over 250 locals to support the organization’s efforts to deliver quality medical care, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.

According to Partlow, “It’s an honor to receive this nomination as a token of recognition by this wonderful organization. Giving back to my community is a commitment that I enjoy and take very seriously, in both my real estate profession and civic involvement.”

“We’re very proud of Nora for being recognized with this well-deserved nomination,” said Duff Rubin, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Mid-Atlantic. “She shows incredible dedication in serving her community, her clients and her peers.”

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Nora for over a decade and I feel lucky to witness her leadership in our community. She inspires us all with her work and commitment,” said Rachel Carter, branch vice president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Alexandria office.

A former business owner (she opened St. Elmo’s Coffee House on Mount Vernon Avenue in 1996 with partner Scott Mitchell, and sold it in 2015), Partlow began her real estate career in 2007 and provides buyer and seller services in Alexandria and the surrounding communities. She was awarded the Key to the City by the Del Ray Business Association and received recognition from city officials for her business and civic impact throughout the Del Ray communities.

The 2018 NVAR Hero Award will be announced at the Annual NVAR Convention on Oct. 9.
