Alexandria Wedding Showcase Features Grand Prize Wedding Giveaway, Benefits Military and First Responder Couples

3^rd Annual Event Returns February 17, 2019 to the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center

Alexandria, VA—Couples planning to tie the knot in the D.C. region are invited to take the hassle out of wedding planning as they discover Alexandria, Virginia’s historic charm, stunning waterside views and wide selection of world-class vendors, all in one place at the 2019 Alexandria Wedding Showcase on February 17, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center.

This year’s event is bigger than ever with more than 60 vendors, a grand prize $25,000 wedding giveaway, a fashion show, demonstrations, a multicultural wedding display, and destination experts ready to lend their expertise, all at an event benefiting Brides Across America. New this year, attendees are invited to take advantage of the Alexandria Love Weekend package at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center. Enjoy a weekend getaway in Alexandria, including two tickets to the Alexandria Wedding Showcase, at the special rate $105 per night plus tax.

At the showcase, couples and their families and friends can visit with more than 60 world-class Alexandria wedding vendors, including bakeries and caterers; entertainment and music providers; florists; photographers; salons and spas; transportation and other service providers; and hotels and other unique venues. Attendees will also enjoy specialty cocktails, a fashion show highlighting the latest wedding trends and the Not-Yet Newylwed Game that will show how well a few lucky couples really know their partners.

Virginia Tourism Corporation’s iconic LOVE letters make the perfect backdrop for pictures and attendees will be entered for a chance to win a free rental of the white six feet tall white LOVE letters. The winner will be announced at 2:45 p.m. at the showcase and must be present to win.

Give Back to Military and First Responder Couples

The Alexandria Wedding Showcase is a benefit for Brides Across America, a national nonprofit that provides wedding gowns and entire weddings to both military and first responder couples nationwide. During the Alexandria Wedding Showcase, the first 20 brides-to-be who pre-registered at BridesAcrossAmerica.com will work with a Brides Across America stylist and will be gifted their wedding gown donated by Brides Across America. In addition, $2 from each ticket sold to the Alexandria Wedding Showcase will be donated to Brides Across America.
