ALEXANDRIA,VA-One of the best kept secrets in town (oops) is a little hideaway on King Street called Dominique Snow’s Salon. Dominique recently celebrated her first year anniversary of going solo with her own salon. Spring is here at last, and Dominique has returned from a foray to New York, tapping the pulse of au courant hairstyle and couleur.

With a degree in painting and sculpture from the San Francisco Art Institute and more than 20 years’ experience, Dominique is a master and artiste of hair design. The popularity of Game of Thrones (no relation to Jon Snow) has seen a resurgence in icicle hair with glam trends, indicating that all roots that glitter are gold.

Dominique’s salon is highly rated, specializing in one-on-one custom, personalized hair treatments in a relaxed, intimate salon experience. She refers to it as a speakeasy atmosphere: unexpected, exclusive, up a staircase adjacent to a theater into ambiance more Belle Époque Paris than Hair Cuttery. Dominique receives five out of five star ratings for professionalism, value, and service. She uses ammonia- and PPD-free hair color products, as well as formaldehyde and aldehyde-free Keratin treatments.

Dominique’s ever on-point, très chic stylishness and attention to detail convey a confident savior-faire that engenders absolute trust. It also persuades clients to go for it—to be as adventurous as Dominique herself. At one point the salon offered a Virtual Reality experience. WiFi is available for customers to post their new-do selfies ASAP.

Dominique Snow Salon has established a loyal following in the DMV. Dominique believes in a wholistic approach as a stylist. How we look is how we feel. Hairapy, so to speak, as she calls her care for hair and rapport with clients.

Wedding and prom season are coming. Color trends are flavorful. Think sweet, savory, and spicy: chocolate brown, bacon, ginger, cinnamon, merlot. Consultations are complimentary. Give Dominique a call today. After all…summer is coming. (703) 447-2522
