Alexandria, VA – The streets of Del Ray came to life on Saturday, May 11! Dozens of entrants created chalk masterpieces along Mount Vernon Ave. in the annual La Bella Strada: An Italian Street Painting Festival – only for it to all be washed away by afternoon rain!
Still, it was beautiful while it lasted. Here are some of our favorite pieces from the day, which by the way, was the same day of the annual Tot Rock Fest, which featured the Rainbow Rock Band and a number of local bands trained by the Del Ray School of Music.
