Here’s How to Get Reimbursed for Alexandria Water Taxi Work Commute

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The City of Alexandria has a program in place during the summer shutdown of Alexandria’s metro rail stops that offers reimbursement of certain Potomac Riverboat Company Water Taxi tickets from May 25 through September 8.

To get the reimbursement, Water Taxi commuters need to click on the link below and fill out a brief form along with attaching a photo or scan of their receipts. Reimbursement requests will be processed no later than the 15th day of the following month.

A commuter round trip regularly costs $10 daily and the reimbursement would be $8; a 2019 commuter pass will cost $199 with a $100 reimbursement.
