Presenting the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce’s 40 Under 40 List!
They're your friends and colleagues and they're making Alexandria a better place.
Alexandria, VA – The owner of a spin studio, CEOs, Realtors, attorneys, school administrators, and more! The diversity of Alexandria’s young leadership is impressive, and this year’s 40 Under 40 from the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce is a powerful group of self-starters.
The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce’s 2019 40 Under 40 Awards, presented by Beyer Subaru, was hosted by Mayor Justin Wilson and Michelle Millben, the founder of Explanation Kids.
“This is a wonderful community and you are the reason,” Wilson told the honorees at the award ceremony at United Way Worldwide in Old Town. “All of you are leaders in the nonprofit community, the business community, and government and you’re making things happen in this city.”
The competition was stiff, as there were 140 individuals nominees this year.
“We have honorees from a wide range of fields working on both local and more global issues,” said Joe Haggerty, chairman and CEO of the Chamber. “Our 40 Under 40 program has really provided us with the chance to honor amazing up and coming individuals who are doing fantastic things in our community and the 2019 class is no exception.”
