Alexandria, VA – Join Old Town North Community Partnership to celebrate dogs and cats! Dogtoberfest takes place this Thursday evening, October 24, from 5-7 p.m. in Montgomery Park. And the event is free!

The festivities will include a dog and cat adoption to benefit the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation. So if you are looking for a brother or sister for your furry friend, this is a great opportunity! There will also be a raffle to benefit the organization!

Hang around for paw and palm readings and a pumpkin hunt. Attendees are sure to be intertained during the costume parade. And those who wish can take home a photo with their pet.

Showing up early is not a problem! The Old Town North Farmers’ Market will open at 4 p.m.

All ages are welcome! Montgomery Park is located at North Royal Street. Have a howling good time!
