City of Alexandria Offers Youth Bike Classes in August

Do you have a child who wants to learn how to ride a bike?

Alexandria, VA – Calling all kids aged 6-12!* The City of Alexandria is sponsoring two Youth Learn to Ride bike classes this month, led by the Washington Area Bicyclist Association.
  • August 17, 10 a.m., William Ramsay Recreation Center (5650 Sanger Ave, Alexandria, VA)
  • August 31, 10 a.m., William Ramsay Recreation Center (5650 Sanger Ave, Alexandria, VA)
Youth Learn to Ride classes are intended for children who have either never tried to ride a bike or have tried but have not been successful. Each student must bring their own bike and helmet. Students will ride for approximately three hours, with breaks every hour.
