Z Pick of the Month: Old Town Beer, Wine and Dog Festival

Don’t Miss the Old Town Beer, Wine and Dog Festival!

Feeling those dog days of summer? They go down easier with events like the 2019 Old Town Beer, Wine, and Dog Festival at Waterfront Park! Tell you’re canine companion all about it by saying, “Bark! Growl… Ruff-ruff!” They’ll totally get it.

The proceeds from the event go to the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria and Lucky Dog Animal Rescue. Here’s a creative chance to meet and hang out with foster dogs who need a home. Separate fenced-in areas for personal dog meets will be set up, and there will be craft beer, wine, food, and live music!

Tickets are $5 for the event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, at the foot of the Alexandria waterfront and King Street.

It’s easy to see why the Old Town Beer, Wine, and Dog Festival is our Z Pick of the Month! See you there!
