The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities installed, and supervises the maintenance of the hanging flower baskets on King Street, which run from the waterfront to Commonwealth Ave. The baskets were made by Greenstreet Growers, and the early birds over at BrightView Landscaping Services start watering them at 4 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with a 500-gallon watering truck and telescopic wands.
