Hungry? A Dozen Alexandria Restaurants Are Participating in ‘Rock The Block’

Alexandria, VA – Want to help the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children while enjoying a night on the town? The NCMEC will host its second annual “Rock the Block” event on Thursday, Nov. 7 from 5 to 11 p.m., at a dozen of Old Town’s most popular restaurants.

Last year’s fundraiser was a big hit, and this year’s “Rock the Block” also marks the 35th anniversary of the NCMEC, which has been located in Alexandria for two decades.

Attendees will get a wristband and restaurant map to plan their evening of culinary delights and specialty cocktails.

The occasion will also feature appearances from special celebrity guest restaurateurs Spike Mendelson and Victor Albisu.

General admission is $125, which includes food and drink at participating restaurants from 6 to 9 p.m. VIP admission is $300 and included a private reception from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and an after-party from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m.
