ALEXANDRIA,VA- Hayrides, the pumpkin patch, a dizzying corn maze, and more! It’s that time of year again at one of the best quick seasonal getaways – the Fall Festival at Greenstreet Gardens in Lothian, VA. And if that wasn’t enough to entice you, they have a Harry Potter theme this year. So, if you solemnly swear you’re up to no good you can come in!

“The big thing that I want my customers in Alexandria to know is that we’re really like 30 minutes away,” said Ray Greenstreet, who runs garden centers in Alexandria and Belle Haven. “We’re open every weekend unless it rains, and the best place to check about that is Facebook.”

The 65-acre Greenstreet Gardens includes a woodlands area, a six acre corn maze, an underground slide, and a giant inflated jumping pillow, expects upward of 15,000 visitors this season.

“We want to send your kids home tired and dirty with some apple cider,” Greenstreet said. “Yeah, apple cider vinegar, apple cider, donuts – all that kind of stuff.”

Do you have what it takes to solve the famous corn maze? Don’t worry about getting lost! Just raise the white flag of surrender (they give you one on a long stick at the beginning of the maze) and call up a Greenstreet Gardens staffer (they give you a cell phone number) who will come find you.
