BOOK and DOLL SIGNING: American Girl Author Valerie Tripp and Felicity Merriman Doll at Alexandria Library

ALEXANDRIA, VA — On Saturday, November 9th, join Alexandria Library and Valerie Tripp, author of the American Girl™: Felicity Series, as we welcome American Girl™ doll, Felicity Merriman™, at the Charles E. Beatley, Jr. Central Library at 5005 Duke Street, Alexandria, VA 22304.

Guests will hear Valerie Tripp give an interactive presentation, and afterwards may have a book or doll signed by the author. One More Page Books will be on site with books for sale.

Valerie Tripp wrote all the books in the Felicity®, Josefina®, Kit®, and Molly series and three of the books in the Samantha series. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University and has a Master’s of Education degree from Harvard University. She lives in Silver Spring, Maryland.

This event will be limited to 125 attendees. Tickets are available the day of the event beginning at 10:30 am. The event will start promptly at 11:00 am

On November 11th, both the Felicity™ and Melody™ dolls will be available for checkout at the Barrett Branch Library located at 717 Queen Street. The dolls have been funded by the Friends of Barrett Library in honor of the Library’s 225th Anniversary and the 80th Anniversary of the Alexandria Library Sit-In.
