Queen Bee Allison Priebe Joins Zebra as Creative Director and Host of New Video Series

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The Zebra Press proudly announces its collaboration with Alexandria’s Queen Bee, Allison Priebe.  Priebe will be the creative director and host of Zebra’s new digital video network, Z-TV. The program “Buzzworthy” will be the crown jewel of the new digital network launching in the next few weeks. Priebe will also be covering special events and  writing digital content for both the online and print publications.

“Pinch me – I seriously must be dreaming! I am returning the world of broadcasting!” said Priebe in a recent Facebook post.

Allison Priebe brings an illustrious journalism background including a degree from the University of Georgia, a stint at NBC News in London, press work from Senator Max Cleveland’s office, and experience as a freelance reporter at News 21 in Montgomery County, and as cohost of the District Dish.

“We are so proud to be affiliated with Allison Priebe. Her effervescence and enthusiasm for the Zebra partnership and digital expansion is contagious. I can’t wait to see the exciting things ahead,” said Mary Wadland, publisher and founder of the Zebra.

Priebe has also served as judge of The George Foster Peabody awards and is a regular contributor to Washington Life Magazine and Local Kicks.  She is a member of the National Press Club, Mensa and has been the Queen behind the wildly successful Queen Bee Designs jewelry company for the past 17 years.

Priebe was also recognized as one of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce’s “40 Under 40” in 2016, an award presented to the best and brightest of among Alexandria’s community leaders.

Priebe resides in the Alexandria’s Collingwood neighborhood with her daughter McClain, who is a junior at the Episcopal High School in Alexandria.

The Zebra Press is an independently-owned media company founded in 2010 with the sole mission of spreading good news.
