See Big Bad Voodoo Daddy Live at The Birchmere!
This Swing Band Played at the Super Bowl and Dancing with the Stars!
ALEXANDRIA, VA – Now is your chance to see Big Bad Voodoo Daddy live at The Birchmere on Jan. 16 at 7:30pm.
You probably have heard their smash hit “Go Daddy-O,” or you’d at least recognize it if you heard it. Together for 25 years, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is a contemporary swing revival band from Southern California. Their notable singles include the aforementioned: “Go Daddy-O”, “You & Me & the Bottle Makes 3 Tonight”, and “Mr. Pinstripe Suit”. The band played at the Super Bowl XXXIII half-time show in 1999 and they have been featured on Dancing with the Stars.
Bring a date or your family to enjoy an eight-piece band that, unlike a lot of popular contemporary acts, plays their own original music with instruments. The band is comprised of a trombone player, two saxophone players, an upright bass player, a drummer, a guitarist, and a keyboardist. Combined with chorus of vocals, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will be sure to have you swinging the night away on the dancefloor.
You can check out the band at www.bbvd.com and you can buy tickets from www.ticketmaster.com for $49.50. Happy New Year to you and yours!
