ALEXANDRIA, VA – For a long time, the Land Rover dealership on Duke Street has been bursting at its fence lines, and they are finally getting new digs on a six-acre parcel of land fronting Van Dorn Street in Alexandria, Virginia.

Chesapeake Contracting Group started construction of the NEW Alexandria Jaguar Land Rover Jaguar dealership, a 50,000 square foot building on December 10, 2020.

After 22 years on the small patch of ground near Telegraph Road by the onramp to I-95, the Beyer Auto Group has outgrown their home on Duke Street and will pickup the Jaguar line when making the move.   The new location will feature a 14-car showroom with 25 service bays and an upscale interior to showcase the luxury brands.

“Currently, we sell well over 100 luxury vehicles each month and we could sell more if we had the space. We are extremely excited about the expansion of our Land Rover sales and service on Van Dorn Street.  Our new facility will also allow us to add the iconic Jaguar brand to our sales and service offering.  This new Jaguar Land Rover Alexandria will be the largest Jaguar Land Rover dealership in the mid-Atlantic, “said John Altman, COO, Beyer Automotive Group.

“We are excited to start construction on our fourth automotive project with Beyer Automotive Group. Their on-going relationship and trust in our ability to get the job done means the world to our team. CCG is proud to continue our presence in the Northern Virginia area delivering this exceptional project to the Alexandria area,” said T. Newell Cox, Vice President, Chesapeake Contracting Group.
