CDC Releases New Guidance for Child Care Programs and Facilities

Alexandria, VA – In its most recent email, the city continues to urge residents to stay at home, unless going out is essential. And when out, they stress the importance of maintaining six feet of distance around others.

Child Care Update

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently released updated guidance for child care facilities and programs that have remained open or may be reopening soon. The information states in particular that a child running a fever or displaying symptoms of an illness should not be admitted to a facility. Administrators will conduct screenings for safety.
