New Coronavirus Symptoms

The list of coronavirus symptoms continues to grow. People have been told previously to look out for a cough, fever, and shortness of breath.  Today the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) added six more symptoms that may be signs of an infection. They are: chills; repeated shaking with chills; headache; muscle pain; sore throat; and sudden loss of taste or smell. For the full list, click HERE. If you are concerned that you are exhibiting symptoms, consult your doctor over the phone and try to remain calm.

Immunization Records

This week is National Infant Immunization Week. With the onslaught of coronavirus cases throughout the country, many pediatricians are worried that child immunization records may not be up to date. Doctors would like to remind parents to keep current with immunizations to prevent diseases that are curable with vaccines. If you have concerns about keeping an appointment at this time, call your pediatrician’s office. They are there to help and answer your questions.
