Gourmet Angel Food Bank Welcomes Chef Scott Demetriek
Alexandria, VA – The Gourmet Angel Food Bank welcomed another angel chef. Chef Scott Demietriek of New Orleans, Louisiana, was a guest chef preparing and distributing Creole-style meals Wednesday, July 1, at Mount Jezreel Baptist Church at 317 North Payne Street in Alexandria. Chef Scott is a multi-talented chef who graduated from Delgado Culinary Arts School in New Orleans, Louisiana. (All photos by Reba Burress-Barnes)
Chef Scott is the special featured guest of Chef Shelley, founder of the Gourmet Angel Food Bank, where they prepare free gourmet supper meals and desserts along with Chef Latesha James-Greene, owner of GreeneStreet Sweets, and Chef Shaun Longley, a.k.a. Chef La Pierre.
