Get on Board: WMATA to Hold Virtual Job Fair July 30

Event is free but job seekers must register

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The Alexandria Workforce Development Center continues to support residents who have lost jobs as a result of the pandemic. Its latest effort is a virtual job fair with Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA).

The job fair will take place on Thursday, July 30 from 2-3 p.m.

By attending, job seekers can learn about immediate employment opportunities with WMATA. These include bus driver, police officer, mechanic, and elevator/escalator apprentice.

The event is free but signing up is necessary. Click HERE to register. After registration, a Zoom meeting link will be sent by email with a meeting password. Participate in the meeting via a desktop computer, laptop, or smartphone.
