Alexandria’s Hottest New Waterfront Eatery, Ada’s on the River, is Now Serving Lunch!

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Alexandria’s newest waterside concept, Ada’s on the River just launched a spectacular Weekday Lunch now serving weekdays 11:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Diners can enjoy a selection of garden-fresh salads as well as entrees and sandwiches. Menu highlights include Starters & Salads such as the Chicken Paillard Salad with coal grilled marinated chicken breast, mixed greens, tomatoes, pickled onions, balsamic, EVOO, and parmesan and Beets & Honeycrisp Apples – pistachio butter, parsley, raw red and golden beets, citrus, pickled raisins, olive oil, and smoked salt.

For Entrées & Sandwiches some hearty handhelds include a Wood Grilled Fish Sandwich with the daily fish, smoked tomatoes, bibb lettuce, and lemon aioli on a potato roll accompanied by thick cut fries; House Ground Prime Dry Aged Burger served with Ada’s signature thick cut fries and piled high with wood fired onions, bacon, lettuce, house pickles, horseradish Russian dressing, and raclette cheese;  as well as a BBQ Tri-Tip Sandwich topped with charred onions, coal fired tomatoes, garlic labneh on a onion-brioche roll with thick cut fries.

Chef Randall’s popular Smoked Ricotta Gnocchi also makes an appearance and is veggie friendly with vegan sausage ragù, caramelized leeks, crispy shallots and herbs. Signature Sides are the perfect complement with items like the Crab Mac & Cheese – Campanelle, lump crab, old bay mornay, and white cheddar and Charred Brussels Sprouts with smoked paprika aioli, spiced fried olives and apples.
