ALEXANDRIA, VA – Doors opened March 13 for the Nothing Bundt Cakes store at 4553 Duke Street in Alexandria, but they are ready to celebrate their Grand Opening this weekend, April 9-10  by giving away their signature Confetti Bundtlets and donating a portion of their total sales to the local animal shelter.

Nothing Bundt Cakes are baked on site and made with real eggs, butter and cream cheese. Along with the variety of sizes and flavors of Bundt cakes, the bakery sells occasion cards and gifts too. One of the store’s owners, Daniel Delgado explains, “Our One-Stop Shop is huge and not a lot of people realize that.  We have candles, we have flowers for the cakes, and we have balloons.  It’s very big for office parties.”  Among the many unique gift items offered, you will find a Kate Spade display, a section with Swig reusable cups, and Natural Life giftable products.

There are many ways to order the delicious, fresh cakes.  One way to try some favorites is to order a “Bundtinis” (bite-sized bundts) standard box.  This collection of twelve individual bundt cakes comes ready to go with three each of the top four popular flavors: white chocolate raspberry, chocolate chocolate chip, red velvet and lemon.  Another choice is the seasonal box, which comes with the featured flavor Strawberries & Cream, a showcase flavor available now through May 31, for example.

The All Occasions and Birthday cakes come in three sizes to serve 8 people (8” cake), 18 people (10” cake) or 26 people (tiered). There are over 40 unique designs to choose from to celebrate the special people and moments in your life, to include a baby gender reveal or a thank you to a doctor.  “The online system for Nothing Bundt Cakes is amazing.  You can build your own cake, go through the decorative options and customize your order”, says Delgado.  Online orders are very popular for their store and delivery service is coming soon.
