June 10 — THURSDAY — Make It Alexandria with Alyssa Kovach of Alexandria Makers Market. Warren Wylupski of Del Ray Metalworks is a rustic blacksmith and welder who enjoys creating functional items and repurposing objects such as railroad spikes, horse shoes, and rebar. June 23 — WEDNESDAY — Trash or Treasure. Join “Trash or Treasure” host Monika Schiavo for an interview with one of the country’s furniture experts, Alexandria’s own Oscar Fitzgerald. The former museum curator, author and professor discusses historic furniture made in Old Town by the Green Family during a visit to the historic Lyceum building on S. Washington Street. Episode highlights include an update on the oil painting being restored by Katja Gibson and a visit to Alexandria Auctions to see the latest valuables up for sale in June.
