ALEXANDRIA, VA-Still Standing – Still Free, Inc., a nonprofit founded by photographers Joe Pisciotta, Sean Kelley, and Bob Pugh, have organized a special, free photograph exhibit to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon. Featuring their photographs from that day, the exhibit will be open from Sept. 11 to Oct. 11, 2021 at Fashion Center at Pentagon City. Hours are yet to be determined.
The purpose of the exhibit is to remind and educate people about the horrific events of that historic day. Besides photographs, there will also be a video and memorabilia. On Sept. 10, the Fashion Center will host a special VIP reception.
The Fashion Center is providing prime retail space for the display, as well as marketing and advertising assistance. To defray costs, the nonprofit is seeking sponsorships at various levels.
If there are any net proceeds, the amount will be donated to one or more organizations serving first responders, victims and/or families of the Pentagon attack, and/or veterans.
Contributors who give under $500 will be listed on the exhibit website. Those who give $500 to $999 will be placed at the Bronze level and receive mention on materials and website, and named a sponsor of one photo chosen by the photographer. Individuals who give between $1,000 and $4,999 will be placed at the Silver level and be recognized on all of the above, and be named a sponsor of two photos, receive a website link and an invitation to the VIP reception. Individuals who contribute $5,000 more will be placed at the Gold level and receive all of the above, plus a prominent position on the logo, mention in media kits, and named sponsor of a memorabilia case. Checks should be made payable to Still Standing – Still Free, Inc.
