Adopt a Pet in Alexandria: Meet Honey

Honey (Photo: AWLA)

ALEXANDRIA, VA-Honey is a super senior at 9-years-old. He’s the perfect little pooch at 13 pounds. Despite being a senior, Honey is still very spunky — full of energy and love. Honey is affectionate and a social butterfly. He’s quick to jump into your lap and give kisses. Honey enjoys his walks with volunteers and staff and loves to sniff and explore. Honey has a passion for toys, but sharing them isn’t his strong suit. Whenever playtime is over though, he’s back to snuggles and cuddles. Honey loves to be with people, so he will make someone a loyal companion. Thanks to Priority Automotive Group, all adoption fees are waived for adult dogs and cats (and small mammals) through the end of the month.

The AWLA is located at 4101 Eisenhower Ave. Founded in 1946, the AWLA has supported and served as a resource for homeless animals. The organization remains an integral part of the community by providing opportunities for adoption, spay and neuter assistance, education, and outreach. To learn more, visit alexandriaanimals.org.
