ALEXANDRIA VA – The application process for the 2022 Jackson Casey Scholarship has begun at the Fort Hunt Youth Athletic Association (FHYAA) in Alexandria, Virginia. The Jackson Casey Scholarship is open to former or current FHYAA athletes graduating in the Class of 2022 as high school seniors. Two winners will be selected and awarded $3,000 in scholarships. Applications for this opportunity are due April 17, 2022 and the winner will be announced May 2022.
FHYAA provides recreational sports opportunities to the youth of Fort Hunt and the surrounding communities in a positive, and safe environment that encourages and promotes teamwork, friendships, and self-confidence. Softball, baseball, lacrosse, basketball, rugby, volleyball, football, and cheerleading are currently supported by the FHYAA. To learn more about FHYAA, go to www.fhyaa.org.
