Greenstreet Gardens’ Annual Fall Festival with Corn Maze, Games and More is Fun for Whole Family!
Alexandria, VA – Fall is just around the corner! We start to daydream about cooler weather and longer evenings. Some start counting down the days to Halloween while others long for pumpkin spice and everything nice. The last couple of years have been difficult, and everyone is longing for activities that are normal. So, what’s the best way to kick off the autumn season? Greenstreet Gardens’ Annual Fall Festival, of course!
Greenstreet Gardens hosts their Fall Festival at their hometown location of Lothian, MD. Families are invited to enjoy a fun day on the farm with numerous fall activities for all ages. Experience the excitement as you get lost in a six-acre corn maze, slide down the bumpy underground slide, and explore the farm’s magical Woodlands area.
Hop aboard the cow train and enjoy the beauty of a hay ride through the fall countryside. Jump on a pillow and into the corn box. Get your face painted, check out the tire tower, and so much more as you make lasting memories with your family! Don’t forget to explore the giant pumpkin patch before leaving!
“The big thing that I want my customers in Alexandria to know is that we’re just 30 minutes away,” said Ray Greenstreet, who owns and operates Greenstreet Gardens with his wife, Stacy Greenstreet. “We try to make the festival fun for everyone in the family, young and not so young. It’s a great chance to make lifetime memories with your loved ones and have a blast while doing it.”
One fun fact about Greenstreet is how much is going on behind the scenes. While Fall Festival runs at full speed, Greenstreet is still managing a wholesale operation, three retail centers, a landscape division, and a holiday décor department in the background.
“Things never slow down at Greenstreet, but Fall Festival is one of our favorite events,” said Bri Tomlinson, marketing director at Greenstreet. “This is when we can connect with our community and customers on a more personal level. We want to create an environment that is entertaining and safe for everyone. That’s why we always try to go above and beyond when planning our Fall Festival.”
Besides the falltastic activities available, Fall Festival is the place for some delicious food and drinks. The Lothian Ruritan Club will be running the grille every weekend this season. Local favorite Sandy Pony Donuts will be available with their delicious cake donuts, Beachin Bay Bakery will offer treats, and Greenspring Brewing Co. will also provide refreshing brews.
Fall Festival is open to the public on the weekends, but Greenstreet hosts special events throughout the season, too! They kick off their fall event with an annual Movie Under the Stars on Friday, September 16 at 7 pm. Admission is canned food, which will be donated to the Lothian SCAN Food Pantry.
Greenstreet loves celebrating the heroes in our world. The first weekend of Fall Festival (9/17 & 9/18) is Heroes’ Weekend – all military, police, fire, EMTs, nurses, and teachers get free admission with ID at check-in.
