ALEXANDRIA, VA – Alexandria Children’s Theatre is partnering with the Mount Vernon Community School PTA to offer a Spring break camp at the school from March 25th – 29th. It’s open to the general public.

Students age 6-8 will be bringing a condensed version of the beloved story The Wizard of Oz to life – without the scary monkeys! – as they travel Over the Rainbow. Several short songs and dances will be learned as they act out the famous story using adorable costumes.

Older children age 9 – 12 will have a wonderful time singing and dancing their way through songs from both Aladdin and Mary Poppins in the We Can Fly! camp.

Confidence will grow as students explore acting and theatre with creative thinking activities and games, plus several crafts related to their camp theme including painting their background scenery. Some time outdoors
will round out each camp day.

Price of the camp is $375 and includes a t-shirt and camp materials. To register go to www.ACTheatre.com. There is a payment plan available on the registration page.
