With Planet Fitness Summer Pass, High Schoolers in Alexandria Can Workout for Free

ALEXANDRIA, VA-With the summer approaching, and along with it the end of school, Planet Fitness offers a special opportunity to teenagers, 14 to 19. They can workout for free starting June 1, and also work with Planet Fitness trainers for free.

A press release about the High School Summer Pass program says it “allows teens the opportunity to prioritize their mental and physical wellness goals during a critical time when school is out and important academic and extracurricular programs such as sports, gym class and after-school activities are in recess. ”

Planet Fitness has three Alexandria locations:

1) 4620 Kenmore Ave

2) 5960 Richmond Hwy

3) 8796 Sacramento Dr

This is the fourth year of the program. Planet Fitness conducted a study that found 63 percent of teens nationwide experience improved confidence with exercise. Fifty percent of participants in the study admitted to positive mood changes.
