ALEXANDRIA, VA – T.C. Williams High School (now Alexandria City High School) alum Noah Lyles will compete in the 100-meter preliminaries on August 3 at 5:45 am ET on NBC, Peacock, and NBCOlympics.com. The semifinals will take place on Sunday, August 4, at 2 pm ET on the same networks, and the 100-meter finals will take place at 3:50 on August 4. He will compete in the 200-meter preliminaries on Monday, August 5, at 1:55 pm, the semis on Wednesday, August 7, at 2:02 pm, and the final on Thursday, August 8, at 2:30 p.m. on the same networks.
Torri Huske, who lhails from just over Alexandria’s border in Arlington, Virginia and is now swimming at Stanford, will swim in the 100-Meter Butterfly heats on July 27 at 5 am ET, the semifinals at 2:30 pm, and the finals on July 28 at 2:40 pm.
Christian Tabash, whose dad suggested he trying rowing after he got cut from his high school’s freshman basketball team, will participate in the Men’s Eight rowing heats on July 29 at 5:40 am ET. The Men’s Eight Repechages (the best of those who did not qualify in the heats) will take place at 4:20 am on August 1. The Men’s Eight final will take place at 5:10 am ET on August 3.
Tori Huske also swam one season in 2016 for Alexandria’s youth swim team, the Chinquapin Wahoos, at the Old Town Pool. She still holds most of the team recorda in the 13/14 girls age group.
