Alexandria Native Jeremy Saulnier’s Latest Movie No. 1 on Netflix

ALEXANDRIA, VA-Jeremy Saulnier was born in Alexandria in 1976. He graduated from T.C. Williams High School. The acclaimed director’s new movie, “Rebel Ridge,” is number one in the Movies Today category on Netflix.

The movie, starring Arron Pierre, AnnaSophia Robb, and Don Johnson, is about an ex-Marine who goes to a small town to help out his cousin and finds trouble waiting.

According to his IMDb page, Saulnier is credited as the lone writer of the film. He has nine directorial credits, including the 2015 film “Green Room,” which made many critics’ top ten lists that year.
