Saturday, November 2, Pick Apples to Fight Hunger — ALIVE is seeking volunteers to help harvest apples to fight food insecurity in Alexandria. The apple orchard is in West Virginia. Transportation is not provided. Carpooling may be available in the morning to volunteers at the ALIVE Warehouse at 9 a.m.
5 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, November 20, Volunteer at Readers Take the Stage — Wright to Read needs volunteers to assist with their annual community event. Volunteers will help with check-in, the raffle, and managing stations.
