About Me

Hi there! I’m Slim — I started my journey as a local stray, but now I’m ready to find a forever home where I can finally settle in and be someone’s loyal best friend. I absolutely LOVE to run, play and make people laugh with my goofy antics. Whether we’re tossing toys, going for walks or just hanging out together, I’m happiest when I’m spending time with my favorite humans.

And after all that fun? I become a total cuddle bug. Seriously — I’m basically a professional snuggler. If you’re looking for a playful little companion with a huge heart and a zest for life, I might just be your perfect match.

Ideal Match

My dream person is someone who enjoys an active, happy pup and has plenty of love to give. I’d love a family or companion who will play with me, take me on adventures and then relax together afterward for cuddle time. Bonus points if you appreciate silly dog antics and puppy-dog eyes that are impossible to resist.

Fun Fact

My golden eyes have been known to melt hearts in record time. Side effects may include spontaneous belly rubs and immediate adoption applications.

My adoption fees are paid and I will be spayed or neutered before you take me home. To learn more about me or meet me, contact the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria by emailing [email protected] or call 703-746-4774, option 2.
