ALEXANDRIA, VA — If exploring some of Old Town Alexandria’s historic homes sounds like the perfect way to spend a fall day, now may be the time to get your tickets.

The Twig’s Historic Alexandria Homes Tour is nearly sold out, with just 150 tickets remaining as of this morning.

Online ticket sales are scheduled to close Wednesday, September 10, 2026, but organizers say tickets could disappear sooner at the current pace.

Have you ever wondered what’s behind the doors of some of Old Town’s most intriguing historic homes?

The annual fall event gives guests an opportunity to step inside historic residences while enjoying a day in one of Alexandria’s most distinctive neighborhoods.

What Your Ticket Includes

Each ticket includes admission to participating historic homes, a printed copy of the 2026 tour book and free admission on tour day to the Alexandria History Museum at the Lyceum.

The tour book serves as both a guide to the featured homes and the guest’s ticket for tour day.

Ticket prices are currently $50 per ticket. The early-bird price of $45 was available through July 31.

Tickets can be purchased online through The Twig’s registration portal.
