The 2027 Girl Scout Cookie season is getting a whole lot more inclusive — and more playful
Alexandria VA – Girl Scouts of the USA has announced two first-of-their-kind additions to its cookie lineup: Girl Scout Sparkables™, an allergy-friendly cookie for people, and Patch Pals™, the organization’s first cookie created specifically for dogs. Both new Girl Scout cookies will be sold exclusively online during the 2027 cookie season.
The national online launch is scheduled for Jan. 12, 2027, although Girl Scout Cookie season dates can vary by local council. The new offerings will join perennial favorites including Thin Mints, Samoas/Caramel deLites and Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs.
Meet Girl Scout Sparkables
For families who have sometimes had to sit out Girl Scout Cookie season because of food allergies, the new Girl Scout Sparkables could be the most significant addition. Developed in partnership with Partake, Sparkables are crunchy oatmeal cookies featuring chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles. The cookies were developed in a facility designed to avoid the nine major food allergens including peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, milk, wheat, soy, fish, crustacean shellfish, and sesame, according to Girl Scouts of the USA. And Now There’s A Girl Scout Cookie For Dogs
Patch Pals are the Girl Scouts’ first-ever cookie created specifically for dogs. Developed with dog-focused company BARK, the treats are soft-baked and flavored to evoke a blueberry muffin. Each treat features one of four Girl Scout-inspired patch designs, giving the new dog treats a visual connection to the organization’s familiar badge-and-patch tradition.
“For the first time, the dogs who share our homes and our hearts get to be part of the celebration,” said Neha Woodward, vice president of product program management at Girl Scouts of the USA.ty.

Patch Pals and Girl Scout Sparkables will be available exclusively online for direct shipping beginning Jan. 12, 2027.
