Alexandria VA – Got a closet full of clothes you never wear? Alexandria VA women have a stylish reason to clean house this fall. The Guest House Sisterhood Swap & Shop is bringing an afternoon of fashion, friendship and giving back to Alexandria on October 18. The Swap and Shop event invites participants to bring five gently used clothing items and trade them for something new-to-you.
Admission is $15 plus five gently used items, making it an easy excuse to finally tackle that overstuffed closet.

Accessories, shoes, handbags, and jewelry are welcome. The afternoon features a clothing swap and shop, boutique items for sale, raffles, and plenty of opportunities to discover new fashion finds while supporting a good cause.
Beyond finding new fashion treasures, participants will also support Friends of Guest House, an Alexandria nonprofit that has helped women rebuild their lives for more than 50 years. Through housing, workforce development and community support, the organization provides opportunities for women returning to the community to achieve long-term stability and success.
What is Friends of Guest House
Friends of Guest House is an Alexandria nonprofit at 1 East Luray Avenue that supports women returning to the community after incarceration. The organization operates multiple homes in Alexandria and has a strong connection to community support, helping them secure housing, employment, education and support services in Alexandria and beyond.. The organization has operated in Alexandria since 1974 and provides support focused on helping women rebuild their lives and reconnect with ts time to drop off their clothing from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by the main Swap & Shop from 1 to 3 p.m.
