ALEXANDRIA, VA – Every vote counts. In that spirit, Democracy Federal Credit Union will be closed on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Giving our employees the time to vote helps to strengthen our country and economy,” said Ken Cahoon, Democracy FCU CEO.
The unique challenges of holding an election during a pandemic means less volunteers at the polls. The financial institution stresses the importance of people doing what they can to help.
According to a press release, “one of the most common reasons people give for not voting is that they are too busy with the demands of life and work.”
