ALEXANDRIA, VA-Don’t wait till school is out to enjoy the fun and games of summer camp!
To help kids get a jump start on summer camp fun, local YMCAs are hosting the annual Healthy Kids Day on April 20th starting at 10 AM. Hundreds of children across the Metropolitan Washington area will come together at their local YMCA to get active and have some early summertime fun with their friends and families!
This free, annual event features family-friendly games, activities, healthy snacks, and prizes to support healthy kids, healthy families, and a healthy start to the summer season.
Parents and guardians can visit ymcadc.org/healthykidsday to see a list of their favorite branches’ activities and save their spot.
The YMCA provides resources for families to create healthy habits all year long. Healthy Kids Day is a fun, free community-wide event that encourages families to take advantage of all the great activities the Y has to offer, like summer camp for kids.
