Pride on the Avenue
Alexandria, VA – State Senator Adam Ebbin, former Alexandria City Council Member and Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Board Chair Paul Smedberg, Alexandria Clerk of Court Greg Parks, Del Ray Business Association board member Dan Roth, and Alexandria City Council member Kirk McPike join Homegrown Restaurant Group co-owner Bill Blackburn for a rainbow ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Del Ray’s newest pop-up bar concept, Pride on the Avenue.
“We were honored to celebrate our official opening with a few of our most loved City leaders, and we appreciate their support,” said Blackburn.
Pride on the Avenue is located at 2312 Mt. Vernon Avenue in the heart of Del Ray and features a special Pride-themed menu and specialty cocktails. “Alexandria is a wonderful and welcoming place, and having a Pride-themed bar be the latest pop-up on Mount Vernon is just the latest sign of our community’s commitment to inclusion,” said McPike. “Bill Blackburn and his team have done a great job creating a fun and inviting place that everyone’s going to love.” Learn more at delrayspopupbar.com.
