Wednesday, August 7, Help Kids Get School Supplies with Stuff the Bus — The United Way is looking for volunteers to pack backpacks, perform quality checks, and write notes of encouragement for their upcoming Stuff the Bus giveaway.

Thursday, August 8, 10 a.m. to noon, Distribute School Supplies with Stuff the Bus — The United Way is looking for volunteers to distribute backpacks and school supplies for their upcoming Stuff the Bus event.

Wednesday, August 14, 10 a.m. to noon, Volunteer Opportunities for Students — Volunteer Alexandria is inviting students, in grades 6 through 12, to help clean-up Jones Point Park.

Volunteer at the Around the World Festival on August 24 — The Around the World Festival is an international showcase of food, culture, and music. The Festival needs volunteers to assist with set-up, vendors, performers, selling beverages, helping visitors, and supervising children in the kid’s activity area.
