Alexandria’s Pawfect Match of the Week: Meet Princess!

Looking for a Quiet Home in or near Alexandria

Princess - AWLA adoption dog of the week
Princess is not a fan of too many long walks, even on the beach. Photo courtesy of the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.

Username: Princess
Age: 7 (just the right age for a long term relationship)
Location: I’m OK where I am now at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria but it’s a little noisy
Breed: Brindle and white (like tiger markings without the drama of a tiger in your house)
Body Type: 68 pounds of love
Status: Looking for a quiet home with tons of chill

About Me
Hi, I’m Princess — I might come off as a little shy when we first meet but give me a little time and I’ll be your most loyal cuddle buddy. I’m a big fan of belly rubs, quiet afternoons, and just hanging out with my favorite humans. I’ve got a lot of personality and a sweet, spunky spirit, but at this stage in life, I prefer a calm environment where I can truly relax and enjoy the good life.

House trained? Absolutely. Polite? You bet. I even know how to “sit” and give a perfect “paw” on command. Basically, I’m the total package — just waiting for the right person to share it all with.

Ideal Match
I’m looking for someone who enjoys the quieter side of life — someone who appreciates loyalty, gentle companionship, and doesn’t need a jogging partner. If you’ve got a cozy home and a big heart, we just might be a match. While I’ve lived with cats before, I’d really prefer to be your one and only four-legged love. I’m ready to soak up all your attention — and give you all of mine in return.

Fun Fact:

Childless by choice – no puppies from me!

Let’s take it slow… then cuddle forever. 💕
