ALEXANDRIA, VA – Alexandria Oktoberfest 2025 is raising a stein to fall fun once again. On Saturday, September 27, 2025, John Carlyle Square will transform into a Bavarian village for the return of this free, family-friendly festival from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Live Music, Dancing, and Bavarian Spirit

Festivalgoers at Alexandria Oktoberfest 2025 can enjoy the sounds of lively German bands and folk dancers filling the square throughout the day. The oompah music sets the stage for contests, laughter, and community cheer, while the dance performances add a colorful splash of tradition.

Food, Beer, and More

No Oktoberfest is complete without hearty fare and frothy mugs. Guests can sample bratwurst, pretzels, sauerkraut, strudel, and other traditional favorites, while enjoying German lagers, craft beers, and seasonal fall brews at the expansive beer garden.

For shoppers, a bustling arts and crafts market will showcase handmade goods from local artisans.
