Alexandria VA – For years, barbecue lovers have flocked to Pork Barrel BBQ in Del Ray for award-winning sauces, smoked meats, and a passion for all things barbecue. Now, the Alexandria institution is taking that expertise beyond the restaurant and into backyards across America.

Pork Barrel BBQ founders Bill Blackburn and Mango Mike Anderson have announced a new venture aimed at helping home grillers elevate their outdoor cooking game. The latest chapter is called Pork Barrel BBQ Tools, a new product line developed in partnership with legendary pitmaster Dave Raymond, known nationwide as “Sweet Baby Ray.”

The collaboration brings together decades of barbecue experience from three respected names in the grilling world. The goal is simple: create practical, high-quality tools designed by people who understand what backyard cooks actually need around the grill and smoker.

What began years ago with an award-winning barbecue sauce has evolved into a recognizable brand with deep roots in Alexandria’s food scene. Blackburn and Anderson have spent years building Pork Barrel BBQ into a destination for locals and visitors alike, while Raymond’s influence helped shape one of the most recognizable names in American barbecue.

According to Blackburn, the partnership represents an exciting opportunity to bring expert knowledge directly to consumers. “We’ve got a great partner as we move forward,” Blackburn said. “We’re ready to get grilling with our tools.”

For barbecue enthusiasts, the venture promises a unique combination of restaurant-tested expertise, championship-level grilling knowledge, and practical solutions designed to make outdoor cooking easier and more enjoyable.
