Did you know that Volunteer Alexandria’s Business Connections program takes the guesswork out of corporate volunteering? We connect companies with meaningful service opportunities, handling the details and coordinating projects that meet real community needs. We are the “wedding planner,” customizing projects that meet the goals and objectives of the company while serving the needs of our community.

Over the past two years, VolALX has worked with more than 40 businesses and associations to create impactful volunteer experiences that benefit Alexandrians, including Fidelity, Applied Policy, and VisitALX.

Most recently, on June 16, AICPA partnered with VolALX to support youth literacy and math practice by assembling 150 learning games for the Wright to Read program at The Campagna Center and the Child & Family Network Center.

Is your business looking for an engaging way to give back, right here in Alexandria? Let VolALX coordinate for you! Recent projects include:

  • Building school vegetable beds
  • Beautifying group homes, including painting rooms and installing shelves
  • Decorating infant onesies
  • Planting flowers and cleaning up gardens

We’re coordinating our fall season now. If you’d like your company to get involved, contact us at [email protected].
